Post VII: MY FAVOURITE BOOK

Wow it is very difficult to choose only one book as my favorite, because I have read many, for school when I was younger and some more in my free time, which makes me accumulate a long list of favorite books. The books that I usually read are of different genres such as romance, terror, suspense, fantasy, realism and comedy, although the ones I like the most are the realists and the suspense ones. Since I like many books today I'm just going
to mention three of the books that have marked
me the most: The first book I will talk about is called Corazon de Tinta by author Cornelia Funke, this is the first book of a trilogy, and I read it when I was 12 or 13 years old, it's about Mo (Brendan Fraser) and his daughter Meggie having the ability to give life to the characters in a book by reading it aloud. This ability gives them problems when Mo accidentally gives life to Capricorn, the damned antagonist of the novel "Inkheart". Mo and Meggie must find a way to send Capricorn back to his literary world, but the task will not be easy, since Capricorn has liked his new world and will not leave voluntarily.

The second book I want to recommend I read when I was 17

years old, is from a Chilean
writer named Carla Guelfenbein who wrote The Rest is Silent this book says that All families hide a secret. Tommy, a sensitive and very particular child, has set out to find out his own: the truth about his mother's death. Juan, his father, fearing that reality would hurt him, has built for both a shell that protects them from pain, but at the same time separates them from life. That Tommy is eager to embrace and feel. Alma, the current woman of her father, tired of living next to a man who avoids feelings, lets herself be carried away by the passion of an old love. It will be an exciting adventure that at the same time will make you question the foundations of its existence. While at first glance it may look like a storybook like any other, the way it is written allows you to feel each one of the distressing feelings and insecurities of the main character, that is the reason why it makes him so wonderful. The third and last book I read very recently and it cost me a lot to finish it because I have to read other texts for the university but I managed to do some time and read My life is a disaster of Lily del Pilar, a comedy book to get you out of the routine and laugh at your misfortunes, this book tells the misadventures of Leah Howard, a girl who attends a prestigious boarding school for wealthy people. The most popular boy at school is in love with her but Leah has a problem: she suffers from filematophobia (fear of being kissed). A romantic novel with a lot of humor. Although it sounds a bit cliche is a book with many surprises, very little predictable.
